[A final vacation post, before returning to bidness-blogging next week…]

Vacations are sort of a mental manifestation of the 3 R’s of Recycling (Reduce, Reuse, Recyle), as in Relax, Refresh, Recharge.

As we move into the final two days of our Caribbean respite, the view at left of St. John’s Fish Bay (USVI) helps bring all this into perspective.  The opportunity to relax at beaches and on decks at home; to refresh courtesy of the availability of plenty of books and the time to read them; and the irresistible pull to recharge by sleeping literally twice as much as my non-vacation daily norm… all attend to a vacation’s stated purpose.

Next week we’ll return to our usual business-like posts.  That’s what we’re here for, right?  And after all, no one wants to hear about someone else’s vacation.  Here’s to yours.  Enjoy it.  It goes by all too fast.

    Dude and Dudette,

Great spending time with you, and so sorry I missed you on that last day. And then, BOOM! Down went all of the phone lines while I was talking to the lovely J. your last evening.

    Keep in touch,
